I first met Bill on the street, we were both doing a flyer drop at the time, I was droping copies of Loose Change and Bill was droping flyers on the topic of ‘Climate Change’. A few days later at a WE ARE CHANGE Sydney Meeting, hosted by Hereward Fenton, we met again. Buy this time I was begining to see how committed and sincere Bills intentions were. I thought to myself this man will get the job done.
A few weeks later Bill came to a Sydney TMA meeting and sadly we didn’t get the chance to catch up on what he had been up too. Today I got this video via email. Bill is in full swing, and is serious about REAL change in the political environment.
He is calling for volunteers this Saturday 5th December 2009 between 8am and 6pm. Please contact me on phil.warinsky@gmail.com if you can help on the day. Bill needs to sort the volunteer schedule for
the 37 booths as soon as possible (next couple of days). The task (for the early risers) is to get to polling stations early get a good spot close to the entrance, put up a poster of the candidate (that’s Bill).
We then need to hand out ‘No Carbon Tax-How to vote leaflets’ explaining to people they must
number all the boxes for their vote to count. They can actually alter their preferences if they want, the most important thing is that they vote 1- Bill Koutalianos and number all the boxes.
If you like you can email Alex Stuart afhstuart@mac.com to register your intention to help out directly.
Use the Subject: Polling day in Bradfield is this Saturday Dec. 5th
Here is a copy of Alex’s request for assistance…
We - the independent climate realists - are standing up and refusing to take
it any more!
Our message of NO CARBON TAX is starting to resonate with people as they
learn more about this
ridiculous piece of proposed law - which would raise the cost of everything
- and do nothing for the climate.
Next Saturday is polling day in Bradfield, Brendan Nelson’s former seat on
the North Shore.
We need to staff 37 polling booths with volunteers to hand out how-to-vote
cards.
If you believe, as we do, that this ideological nonsense needs to stop,
please help by volunteering this Saturday.
We have a strong identity in our all-white attire with our red no-go logo on
the T-shirt, front & back.
Our candidate, Bill Koutalianos, who is a strong voice for reason and common
sense, expects to send a strong message of dissent to the pro-emissions-trading
Liberal candidate.
If you can spare us a few hours, then join the grass-roots revolt and get a
free NO CARBON TAX T-shirt.
Please email me on afhstuart@mac.com (phone number removed for privacy) with where & when you can support us.
Regards,
Alex Stuart
